The penalty rates of workers across Australia are at real risk. A cut to penalty rates would not only hit workers and their families hard, it would also have an impact on our local communities and local organisations.
Weekends are when we volunteer, when we play and watch sport, when we attend religious services, and when we take time out to relax with family and friends. Workers missing out on those important occasions deserve to be properly compensated.
