Kate – weekends are special
As a mother of three school age boys and a shift working husband I believe that weekends are special. I feel that anyone who is willing to give up their weekend deserves to be paid for it. Most people who work in retail or hospitality are already on a low wage. We rely on penalty rates to give us a reasonable wage.
